The domestic Smartphone maker Xolo has expanded the ERA lineup and launched the cheapest priced 4G device in the lineup named ‘Era X’. Affordably priced at Rs. 5777, the handset is available at Amazon India in black color variant only. The company has launched many affordable Smartphones in the recent times and Era X seems to be the better bet.
Coming to the core part, i.e. specifications, the Smartphone features a 5 inch HD IPS proposing pixel density of 294ppi, 1280×720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla glass 3 for protection. Under the hood it is fuelled by 1.5GHz Quad Core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor aided by 512MHz Mali 400MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
For imaging, it bears an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera with LED flash for Selfies. Storage capacity includes 8GB internal which is further expandable to 32GB using a Micro SD card.
It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box and it will get a Marshmallow update in near future. Connectivity options include dual Sim support, 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Micro USB 2.0, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
Measuring 145.5x72x8.45mm, the handset weighs 142 grams and packs with proximity, ambient light and accelerometer sensors. It is backed by a 2500mah battery which is rated to deliver 10 hours 35 minutes of talktime on 3G networks. Furthermore, it also has multilingual support such as Marathi, Odia, Punjab, Assamese, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
