The telecommunication company, Xolo has launched a new phone in their era series, called the Era 1X. The phone is a budgeted 4G smartphone, priced at Rs.4,999. it is exclusively available on Flipkart. The company has started the registration for this model, but the phone will be available from 15th September 2016.
Xolo Era 1X is driven with VoLTE support. This means that I will work with the Reliance Jio network. The phone comes with a 5 inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixel. It also has an IPS display with 16M colors, with a 2 point multitouch support. The pixel density of the phone is 294 ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Spreadtrum SC9832Aquad- core processor which runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The phone has a 1GB RAM and has an inbuilt storage of 8GB, which can be extended up to 32GB by inserting a microSD card. The phone is equipped with an 8 megapixel autofocus rear end camera with a LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera which has a dual LED flash and a 1080p video recording. It has features such as live photos, slow motion, time lapse, beauty mode, and burst mode.
Xolo Era 1X is packed with a 2500mAh non removable battery. They claim it lasts up to 185 hours on standby time. They also promise up to 22 hours of 2G talk time and approximately 13 hours 28 minutes of 3G talk time.
It has a dual SIM slot with 4G LTE connectivity. Other features of the phone are Audio Note, Smart Awake, Assistant Cast screen, Smart Screenshot and flip to mute calls and alarms.
The other connectivity options are Wi- Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Wi- Fi hotspot, Micro USB, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The dimensions of the phone are 145.5 x 72 x 8.6 mm (height x width x thickness). The phone is available in black with gunmetal and gold with brown color variations.
