Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Note 3 smartphone in the note series in China alongside Mi MIX 2. The company in its new phone is promoting its developed AI-based beautify feature, facial recognition unlocking and 4-side curved body. It also has a fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, features a curved glass body with an aluminium frame and also comes with stereo speaker setup.
The smartphone will go on sale from 15th September 2017. The XiaomiMi Note 3 is priced at 2499 yuan (approx. Rs 24,500) for 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage version, 2899 yuan (approx. Rs 28,300) for 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage version for black variant and 2999 yuan (approx. Rs 29,400) for 6GB RAM/128 GB inbuilt storage variant in blue. It also It has 5.5 inches (1920 X1080p) full HD display with 550 nits brightness. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon Processor 660 14 nm mobile platform with Adreno 512 GPU and 6 GB of RAM. The dual SIM phone has a 64 GB/128 GB non-expandable storage.
Mi Note 3 runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. It has two 12 megapixel which is coupled with wide angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, secondary 12 MP camera coupled with a telephoto lens and f/2.6 aperture and the setup offers 2x optical zoom, and PDAF, apart from 4K video capture. It has a 16 MP front facing shooter with 2-micron pixels.
For connectivity, the phone offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual band, Bluetooth 5.0 GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C. The smartphone has a storage capacity of 3500 mAh/3400mAh and has Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. At tape, it measures 152.6 X 73.95 X7.6 mm and weight is 163 grams.
