After so many teasers, suspense Xiaomi finally reveals its new Smartphone named as Mi4i at the global event at New Delhi, India and it has been priced at Rs. 12,999 INR. It is a lite version of Mi4 and will go sale on Flipkart from 30 April 2015; you can register for the flash sale now. It will be available on Snapdeal and Amazon and will also be sold at Mi.com.
Mi 4i features a 5 inch (1920×1080) Concore IPS display with pixel density of 441 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Smartphone is also available with Sunlight display feature which adjusts the display under sunlight.
Powering the Mi 4i is a second generation 1.7GHz 64-bit Octa Core Snapdragon 615, Adreno 405 GPU and paired to 2GB RAM. Mi 4i runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 6 on top and it also support 6 Indian languages.
On photography front, the Smartphones sports a 13MP rear camera with dual tone flash, 5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front facing camera. The company also offering HDR features with halo suppression, ghost removal, color correction, gamma, contrast tuning and it also comes with some beauty features like skin smoothening, wrinkle remover and a Selfie timer.
Mi 4i comes with 16GB in-built storage with no memory expansion option which is disappointing. The phone is backed up by a 3120mah battery with quick charge support which can charge battery up to 40% in 1 hour and 100% in 3 hours.
According to Xiaomi Mi 4i is 12 percent thinner and 13 lighter than Mi 3 and weighs just 130 grams.
Connectivity options on Mi 4i include dual SIM, 2G, 3G, and 4G (on both Sims), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi direct, USB.
Mi 4i comes in Yellow, Pink color, White and Blue colors and will take on Moto G 2nd Generation, Asus Zenfone2 and Micromax Yu Yureka.
