Tecno Mobile, Hongkong based subsidiary is the latest to enter Indian market with five Smartphones- i3, i3 Pro, i5, i5 Pro and i7. Prices start at Rs. 7990 and go up Rs. 14,990. The Tecno i3, Tecno i3 Pro, Tecno i5, Tecno i5 Pro are available in retail stores while i7 will go on sale in May 2017. All the Smartphones runs on Android Nougat out of the box and supports 4g VoLTE and ViLTE (Video over LTE) connectivity.
Tecno i3
Tecno i3 is the most affordable of the lot with a sticker price of Rs. 7790. The Smartphone sports 5-inch HD IPS display with screen resolution of 1280*720 pixels. Under the hood is a Quad core Mediatek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and accompanied by 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
The camera segment includes an 8MP primary rear camera with quad LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. For Selfies and video calling it has an 8MP night Selfie camera with LED flash and front LED flash. Connectivity options include dual Sim, WI-Fi, GPS, bluetooth, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. It is beefed up by a 3050mah battery and measures 142.75*70.5*7.9mm.
Tecno i3 Pro
The Tecno i3 pro comes at Rs. 9990 and offers similar specs to except for the upgraded 3GB RAM and an anti-oil fingerprint sensor.
