It seems like the South Korean has already put behind the Fiasco of Note 7 as Samsung has taken the cover off the Note 8 at an event in New York City. Much to the Note Fans delight, Samsung large Screen flagship has been revealed and will soon be launched in India. It will take on Apple I phone 8 and Google Pixel XL 2. The Note 8 will be launched in Orchid Grey, Maple Gold, Deep Sea and Midnight black colors. It will be available for pre-order in USA from 24th August and ships from September 15th and For India; Pre-registrations are opened at Samsung’s official website.
The Note 8 comes with better S Pen Stylus with better tip, developed pressure sensitivity and now it lets you share animated texts and Gifs. In addition, it also comes with better translation feature which can swiftly translate entire sentences up to 71 languages, foreign currencies. It also comes with heart rate monitor, Fingerprint sensor and Iris Scanner. The Flagship also gets IP68 ratings with up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes and it also features Bixby assistant with dedicated button.
Now to specs, Note 8 flaunts a big 6.3 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED Infinity display with 522Ppi pixel density and 2960*1440 pixels of screen resolution. Powering the beast is an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor clubbed with 6GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. It comes in memory variants- 64GB, 128GB and 256GB which is further expandable up to 256GB using a Micro SD card.
For Photography, Note 8 bears 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with LED Flash, OIS, f/1.7 aperture and a 12MP camera with telephoto sensor, 2x optical Zoom (up to 10X zoom), OIS and f/2.4 aperture. Up front is an 8MP auto focus camera with wide angle lens and f/1.7 aperture. The Dual Sim device runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and might get Android O update by end of this year.
Range of Sensors includes Barometer, Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic, Hall, RGB, Pressure and Proximity sensor. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, MST and GPS with GLONASS. It is fuelled by a 3300mah battery with fast charging support on both wired and wireless charging. The device measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6mm and weighs 195 grams.
