Just as we all know, Samsung brand is famous for making flashy phones rather than the practical ones and S6 Edge is the prime example of it. Despite of the fact, Samsung launched the S6 Edge plus variant last month with no prominent changes. Now, Samsung is all set to launch another new flagship- Galaxy Note 5 in India on 7 September 2015.
Samsung has started sending invites to media for an event and the invite carries a tagline ‘witness the most powerful and dynamic galaxy yet’. So Galaxy note fans get ready to witness bigger screen and S pen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the successor of Note 4 and flaunts a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen with 1440×2560 of pixels resolution and pixel density of 515ppi. The note is protected with a layer of 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass 4.
Under its heart is a 64-bit Octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC (4 cores Cortex-A57 clocked at 2.1GHz + 4 cores Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz) and 4GB of RAM with 32GB and 64GB internal memory on offer with no expandable feature.
It bears a 16 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and OIS (Optical image stabilizer) along with a 5 megapixel front camera.
The Phablet will run Android Lollipop 5.1.1 wrapped under the latest version of Touch Wiz UI on top. With refreshed UI, you will get features like quick camera launch, YouTube live broadcasting etc.
In terms of connectivity, you get 4G/LTE band, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro USB port and NFC. The new Note is backed up a 3000mah battery with fast wireless charging support.
Let’s hope the pricing of Note 5 would be not too high as it will taking on Sony Xperia Z5 premium which comes with first in segment 4K display.
