Soon after launching Galaxy J1 4G, Samsung has further expanded its J series by introducing J2 Ace. It sets you back at Rs. 8490 and already available to buy across leading channels in Gold, black and silver color variants. The Smartphone now comes with VoLTE support with high definition calling and front LED flash for better low light pictures. The J2 Ace also includes S bike mode and ultra data saving (UDS) mode.
As far as specs goes, J2 Ace sports a 5 inch qHD display with a screen resolution of 960*540 pixels. It comes powered with a 1.5 GHz quad core processor clubbed with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further extended up to 256GB using a Micro SD card. The device supports Samsung’s Turbo speed technology (TST) that optimizes the phone’s RAM to free up space and open apps faster.
On the software front, it runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 which is wrapped under touch Wiz UI on top. The Galaxy J2 Ace bears an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front with both featuring LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. Besides VoLTE, other standard connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB, FM radio and 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Galaxy J2 Ace measures 132.6 x 69.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 131 grams. It is backed by a 2600mah battery. At this price, it competes with Redmi 3S Prime and Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus.
