Panasonic Mobiles have expanded its range of affordable Smartphones in India by introducing T50 with a price tag of just Rs. 4990. At this price don’t expect great specs, the only thing seems good is it is running on company’s Sail UI which is said to be the Smoothest Android UI yet. The device is already to buy in Champagne gold, Midnight blue and Rose gold color variants.
The Panasonic T50 has a 4.5inch IPS FWVGA having a 480*854 pixels resolution and powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor aided by 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of on board storage on the handset with an expandable memory option up to 32GB using a Micro SD card.
The Smartphone features a 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. On the connectivity front, it supports Dual Sim connectivity, 3G, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. The device is backed by a 1600mah battery and runs of Android Lollipop 5.1 with Sail UI on top.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “Our latest introduction in the Indian market is a novelty because it arrives with the launch of Panasonic’s in-house software, the SAIL user interface. The UI is even integrated into a specialized SAIL camera. It is an app-driven Smartphone which combines 3G connectivity and multi-app smoothness for a flawless user experience in a handheld device”.
