Panasonic has expanded its ‘P series’ with the launch of the P99 smartphone in India at an introductory price of Rs. 7490. The mid-range device includes 4G VoLTE support, Android Nougat 7.0 to name a few. The Panasonic P99 is available from Panasonic brand shops and authorized retail outlets across the country in Champagne Gold, Black and Blue colours.
As for the specs, it flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS fully laminated display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core processor accompanied by 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB micro SD.
The dual SIM runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box. For optics, it bears an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options of P99 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm jack and FM radio.
A 2000mAh battery keeps the phone alive. The device measures 144.6×71.8×8.6mm and weigh 145 grams.
