Panasonic has launched two new variants of Eluga I2 which was unveiled in August last year. The new version is available with 2GB and 3GB RAM as compared to 1GB on the previous one and improved front camera. The 2GB version is priced at Rs. 7990 while 3GB RAM is available for Rs. 8990. It comes in three color shades- Metallic grey, metallic silver and metallic gold and will be available with free protective screen guard.
The Eluga I2 features a 5 inch HD IPS One cell display and powered by a 1GHz Quad core processor. For storage it includes 16GB of storage which is further expandable up to 32GB using a Micro SD card. The Dual SIM device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Panasonic FitHome UI.
For photography, it is equipped with 8MP rear camera with LED flash while front now comes with 5MP unit replacing the 2MP on the older model. The device measures 144.2 x 71.2 x 8.8 mm and weighs 135 grams. Connectivity options include 4GLTE with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, 3G HSPA, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, Micro USB 2.0, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. The Smartphone is backed by a 2000mah battery which is good enough to last for entire day.
