Putting end months of speculations, OnePlus has revealed its much-hyped flagship OnePlus 5 at an event. The Flagship is all set to launch in India tomorrow i.e. 22nd June 2017 at Amazon India and comes with some top-notch specifications. It comes packed with beefy 8GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants.
The device is up for pre-orders in USA, European markets and with an early drop system, the shipments begin today. The pre-book users will get some special launch offers as well. For India, the 6GB RAM variants is rumored to be priced at Rs. 32,999 while 8GB RAM version might cost at Rs. 37,999.
Coming to the design which looks like Apple iPhone 7 Plus thanks to similar antenna lines and silhouette. The company is touting it as the “slimmest OnePlus flagship ever” as it is just 7.25mm thick. The OnePlus 5 flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with DCI-P3 and 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display.
It is powered by a 2.45GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, mated to 6GB/8GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. It comes in two nonexpandable storage variants- 64GB and 128GB. It runs on Android Nougat 7.1 with Oxygen OS out of the box.
For optics, it boasts a dual rear camera setup comprises of a 16MP camera with dual-LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, EIS along with 20MP sensor with f/2.6 aperture, Sony IMX 350 sensor and 4K video recording at 30fps. For Selfies, it is accompanied by a 16 autofocus front camera with screen flash support.
For connectivity, it offers 4G LTE (with VoLTE), dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, USB type-C 2.0 and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD. It is fuelled by a 3300mah battery with dash charge support and has a range of sensors support accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, proximity and digital compass sensor. It weighs 153 grams and measures 154.2×74.1×7.25mm.
