As promised, HMD global has launched Nokia range of Smartphones in India- Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. These are the first devices after Lumia brand dropped Nokia nomenclature under Microsoft ownership and also the first Nokia brand Smartphones to run stock Android version. The premium of the trio is Nokia 6, priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be exclusively available via Amazon.in and registrations will begin from 14th July. The Smartphone will be available in Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper colors.
Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920*1080 pixels of screen resolution, pixel density of 403ppi, 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla glass 3. Under the hood is an Octa core Snapdragon 430 processor clubbed with 3GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 32GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
It bears a 16MP primary rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. Up front is an 8MP front-facing camera, 1.12um sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 84˚ wide-angle lens. Featuring body made using 6000 series aluminium, it runs on Android nougat 7.1.1 out of the box.
The Smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor embedded on its home button and comes with Dolby atmos audio and dual stereo speakers. For connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with range of sensor support like ambient light, accelerometer, proximity, hall and gyroscope sensor. A 3000mah in-built battery completes the list.
