As expected, Motorola has introduced the Moto G Turbo Edition in India with price tag of Rs. 14,999. The phone is exclusive to e-commerce site Flipkart like other Motorola Devices and will go on sale from today in Deep sea blue with black and white colors. Motorola India has also announced some lucrative introductory offers with the Moto G turbo edition like Airtel subscribers will get double data offer with the device, 100 lucky customers can receive 100 percent cashback, exchange offer with max discount up to Rs. 6000.
The highlighting points of the Turbo edition is the improved specs over Moto G 3rd GEN which includes better processor of 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz aided by 2GB of RAM over 410 Soc on the Moto g 3rd Gen. It also bears IP67 certification which makes it water resistant and dust proof.
Rest of its specs remains similar to Moto G Gen 3 like it flaunts 5 inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla glass 3. It features the same 13MP rear camera with Dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, IR filter and 1080p video recording support. At front, it bears 5MP unit with 72 degree wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture.
The Turbo edition includes 16GB of in-built storage and you can further expand the memory up to 32GB via a Micro SD card. Connectivity options include Dual Micro Sim with dual standby, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, A-GPS/GLONASS.
On software segment, it runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. The device houses a 2470mah battery which now supports turbo power quick charging delivers up to 6 hours of usage from just 15 minutes of charging. At this price range, it takes on the likes of Asus Zenfone 2, Xiaomi Mi4i etc.
