Motorola India today has announced the launch of latest Smartphone in the ‘G series’ called G play. Priced at Rs. 8999, it will be available via Amazon India from today onwards in white and black color variants. It is an affordable version of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus launched in India a couple of months ago priced at Rs. 12,499 and Rs. 13,499 respectively.
The G4 Play sports a 5 inch HD display comes with 1280*720 pixels of screen resolution and water repellent Nano-coating. At its heart, we find a 1.2 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 410 processor matched to 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 for graphics. It offers 16GB of on board storage that’s extendable up to 128GB via Micro SD card.
The Moto G4 Play bears an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, auto HDR, f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording. There is also a 5MP front facing camera on board assisted by display flash features for better low light photos. It runs on vanilla Android marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE (voice over LTE), dual Sim, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, bluetooth 4.1LE, GPS with A-GPS, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. It is backed by a 2800mah battery which supports fast charging via 10W charger and it can give up to hours of usage time with just 15 minutes of charging.
