Motorola has launched the successor of Moto G5, the Moto G5S smartphone. The G5 was launched back in August but now it has been re-launched in the Midnight Blue color variant named Moto G5S. Previously it came in Fine Gold and Lunar Gray color variants. The all new smartphone with new color is available on all retail stores and Moto Hubs. The phone comes with new EMI schemes starting 14th till 21st of October and can be purchased for Rs. 12999 till then. The smartphone is actually priced at Rs. 14,999. The additional features of the Moto G5S include a water-repellent nano-coating body and has a bottom ported loudspeaker as well.
The Moto G5S has a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection while it is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon processor, 430 (MSM8937) Mobile Platform and Adreno 505 GPU. The new smartphone also has 4GB of RAM with 32GB internal memory capacity that is further expandable up to 128 GB with micro SD card.
Talking about the optics of the phone, it carries a 16MP primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and 1080p video recording feature. For the front shooter the Moto G5S has a 5MP front-facing camera with flash, f/2.0 aperture, professional mode and beautification Mode. The dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) and also has a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone.
The connectivity options of the phone offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/GLONASS, micro-USB, and a 3.5 mm headset jack. For the battery the Moto G5S comes backed with a 3000mAh battery along with Turbo Charging. It promises 5 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes with Turbo Power charging. The dimension of the phone measures 150×73.5×8.2mm to 9.5 mm while it weighs 157g.
