Microsoft launches Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL in India, priced at Rs. 11,999 INR and Rs. 15,799 respectively. Lumia 640 XL would be available across all major shops and retailers while Lumia 640 would be available exclusively only on Flipkart. The Smartphones were revealed at the MWC 2015 with their 3G and Single SIM variants.
Consumers who buy both these Smartphones between April and June 2015 will also get one year subscription to Office365 (worth Rs. 3299) for free. Microsoft is also offering subscription of 1TB storage on one Drive.
The Microsoft Lumia 640 feature a 5 inch HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and packs an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1MP front camera. For the backup Lumia 640 comes with 2500mah battery.
The Bigger Microsoft Lumia 640XL sports a 5.7 inch HD IPS display with Corning Glass 3 protection and sports a 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP Selfie camera.
Apart from Camera, Screen Size and battery capacity both the Smartphones gets power from same 1.2GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU.
Both have 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable using a Micro SD card up to 128GB. Both Lumia 640 and 640XL runs on windows 8.1 and they will be receiving Windows 10 update later this year.
The Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL comes in Cyan, Orange, White and black colors.
