After launching the 4G enabled Smartphone Canvas Xpress 4G yesterday, Micromax has now added a new 4G phone to its arsenal in the form of Canvas Nitro 3. The handset is available to buy via eBay.in at a price tag of Rs. 8130. Micromax is launching two phones every week and with similar names they are confusing the buyers.
The handset bears a 5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1280×720 of pixel resolution. Fueling the phone is an Octa-core Mediatek MT6592M processor with Mali 450 GPU clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.
The Canvas Nitro 3 comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB using a Micro SD card. It packs in with a 13 megapixel rear camera supporting LED flash, Largan 5P lens and f/2.2 aperture. At front, you get a decent 5 megapixel camera with OMNI vision OV5648 sensor and f/2.2 aperture. The good thing is that both the cameras feature LED flash.
The dual SIM device runs on Android lollipop 5.1 and offers 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0 as connectivity options. Sadly, it misses out on 4G LTE connectivity which is even present on Canvas Xpress 4G, priced at approx 1500 less than Nitro 3.
It also comes with an array of sensors such as ambient light, proximity and accelerometer sensors. The canvas Nitro is powered by a 2500mah battery and will come in blue color variant only with faux leather finish.
