Micromax, one of leading Phone maker in the world, today has launched two new devices in the Mega series- Mega E353 and Mega 4G Q417 and is available for Rs. 7999 and Rs. 10,499 respectively. The former was listed on the company’s official website which later went on sale through an e-commerce website. Both the phones are now available for sale while company is also gearing to launch Canvas Pulse 4G in the coming days.
Micromax Canvas Mega (E353)
The Phablet has a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels of resolution and a corning gorilla glass 3 protection. Powering it is a 1.4GHz Octa-core Mediatek MT6592M processor matched with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage out of which user gets only 3.6GB, though it is expandable up to 32GB using a micro SD card.
The device also features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel Selfie camera. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 and backed up by a 2820mah battery which company claims can deliver up to 10 hours of talktime and 600 hours of standby time.
It is available in black color only and offers 3G, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio as connectivity options. Canvas Mega comes with some pre-loaded apps like clean master, Saavn, Snapdeal, Amazon, Temple run dash, Monster truck Saga and Hot star etc.
Micromax Canvas Mega 4G (Q417)
Canvas Mega 4G, the more premium of the two offers slightly better specs than its sibling like it is fuelled by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Mediatek MT6735 processor assisted by humongous 3GB of RAM, Mali T720 GPU and 16GB of internal storage with option of expanding the storage via a Micro SD card slot. Apart from 4G LTE support, Micro USB and smaller 2500mah battery rest of its specs remains same as E353.
