LeEco today at an event launched its first made in India Smartphone, the Le 1s (eco). The Smartphone is available at an introductory price of Rs. 9999 along with free 1 year LeEco membership worth Rs. 4990 for free. The first 1, 00,000 units will be sold via Flash sales mode May 12th 2016 at 2 PM on Flipkart and registrations for the sale have begun. After first flash sale is over, the device will be available at its original price of Rs. 10,899.
It sports a 5.5 inch full HD in-cell IPS display featuring pixel density of 403ppi, 500 nit brightness and 1920×1080 pixels of display resolution. Under the hood is a 64-bit Octa Core Mediatek Helio X10 SOC clocked at 1.8GHz and aided by 3GB of RAM and power VR G6200 GPU.
The handset comes with 32GB internal storage but sadly it has no memory expansion slot though is offering LeEco drive with 5TB of storage. On the photography front, it sports a 13MP camera at rear with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box and backed by a 3000mah battery with supercharge feature that can provide 3.5 hours of talktime in just 5 minutes of charging.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3.5mm audio jack, USB type C, bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with Wi-Fi direct, infrared and FM radio. Le 1s offers fingerprint sensor with almost 99 percent precision rate.
The Smartphone also boasts with Le Live app, Yupp Tv, Le Vidi app for video on demand, Le Eco music app with Hungama integration and 10 Indian languages support including Tamil, Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
