As promised, LG has launched its dual screen device named X screen in India at a price tag of Rs. 12,990. The Smartphone will be available at Snapdeal from tomorrow onwards in white and black colors. Unveiled at MWC 2016, it features a small 1.76 inch always on second screen along with the main screen which shows notifications for apps, time, date, battery status, display music controls and call without affecting the ongoing activity.
It sports a 4.93 inch HD IPS display along with 1.76 inch LCD secondary display with screen resolution of 520*80 pixels. LG X screen is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It packs with 16GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB using a Micro SD card.
It is also the first to come with SOS mode and panic button (in-line with Government initiative) which can be activated by pressing the power button five times. On the photography front, it bears a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and for selfies and video calling it packs with a 8MP front shooter.
The LG X screen runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box and offers 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack as connectivity options. A 2300mah battery completes the package which is claimed to deliver 13 hours of talktime and up to 120 hours of standby time on 3G network. As a part of launch offer, LG X screen is bundled with free subscription to Hungama play, Vodafone 4G data offer and Rs. 650 cashback for SBI users.
