Lenovo India has launched two new Smartphones in India, the Lenovo Vibe P1m and P1 which were disclosed at IFA this September. Priced at Rs. 7999 and Rs. 15,999 respectively, both will go on sale from 27th October 2015. The Vibe P1m I scheduled for its first flash sale on 28th October 2015 and registrations for the devices begin today.
In terms of spec, Lenovo Vibe P1 offers a 5 inch HD display features Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection, 1280×720 pixel resolution and splash proof coating. It is fuelled by a small 1GHz quad-core 64-bit Mediatek MT6735P SoC assisted by 2GB of RAM. The Lenovo Vibe P1m comes in Onyx Black and Pearl White color shades.
The phone comes with 16GB on board storage though a user can further expand it up to 32GB using a Micro SD card. For photography, it is packed with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper. The device has a massive 3900mAh battery supporting fast-charging function and enables it to deliver 16 hours of talktime and standby time of up to 23 days.
On the other hand, The Vibe P1 has a metal body and a massive 5.5-inch Full HD screen. The phone is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. It houses 32GB of internal memory expandable up to 128GB via Micro SD card.
It also feature better camera configurations of 13 megapixel rear unit with PDAF, dual tone LED flash and at front you get 5MP camera. The USP of the P1 is a gigantic 5000mah battery which is good enough for up to 44 hours of talktime and standby mode of up to 25 days. It also features a fingerprint sensor button on the home screen. Lenovo Vibe P1 available in Platinum and Graphite Grey colors.
Both Smartphones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI on top. Connectivity options are also same on both like they sports dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC and GPS. It also has a special feature called OTG charging which enable charging for other devices.
