As promised, after unveiling at MWC Lenovo has launched Vibe K5 Plus in India. Priced at Rs. 8499, the Smartphone will go on sale through e-commerce website Flipkart on 23rd March 2016 starting 12 PM. Available in Gold, Grey and Silver color shades, it will be launched with exclusive exchange offers for existing Lenovo 6000 and 6000 Plus users.
In terms of specifications, Vibe K5 plus comes with a 5 inch Full HD IPS display with 1920*1080 pixels resolution, 450 nits brightness and 180 degree wide angle lens. Powering it is a 1.5GHz 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with a 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
It houses 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus bears a 13 Megapixel camera at rear with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, 1080 video recording. The camera has an OMNI Vision OV13850 sensor. For Selfie, it features with 5MP snapper with 4P lenses and f/2.8 aperture.
Connectivity features on the device include Dual Sim, 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. For enhanced audio experience, it gets two Dolby Atom enabled speakers and PM8916 audio codec.
Running Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box, it is backed by a 2750mah battery which is claimed to deliver 15 hours of talktime and 322 hours of standby time on 3G network. Measuring 142x71x8.2mm it weighs 150 grams and comes with some pre-loaded apps such as Guvera music, Share it and Snap it.
