Earlier this month Lenovo had launched the K8 Plus smartphone in India and has now announced the K8 with a similar design. The smartphone is available for Rs. 10499 and can be bought from select retail stores all over the country. K8 is available for purchase in Venom Black and Fine gold colors. The phone has Lenovo’s usual Theatermax tech, Dolby Atmos, and features a metal unibody design.
The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D curved glass screen. It is powered by 2.3GHz Media Tek Helio P20 Octa-Core 64-bit 16nm processor coupled with ARM Mali T880 MP2 GPU. The Lenovo K8 carries 3GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded with micro SD card.
For optics, Lenovo K8 has a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED flash and an 8MP front shooter with LED flash. This dual SIM smartphone has a fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat).
For connectivity, Lenovo K8 has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 820.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. The dimension of this smartphone is 147.9 x 73.7 x 8.55 mm while it weighs 165g. Lenovo K8 comes packed with 4000mAh battery which promises up to 2 days of battery life and a 10W fast charger with it.
