LeEco launches Le1s, Le Max Smartphones in India; priced at Rs. 10,999 and 36,999

LeEco (formerly known as Letv) has unveiled two Smartphones – Le1s and Le Max at an event in New Delhi, India. The Le1s is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 32GB version while Le Max is available for Rs. 32,999 (64GB silver version), Rs. 36,999 (128GB Gold variant) and Rs. 69,999 for the premium pink color sapphire display 128 GB trim. The last variant is limited to 1000 units only. Both the Smartphones are exclusive to Flipkart; Le1s will be available for sale from 2nd February 2016 while the Le Max will go on sale from 16th February 2016 onwards.

LeEco Le1s:

The affordable of two, Le1s features a 5.5 inch in-cell full HD IPS display with 500nits brightness. The display has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The Smartphone is fuelled by a 2.2GHz Octa Core Mediatek Helio X10 processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU, 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and bears 32GB on in-built storage.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with EUI 5.5 UI on top. The Dual SIM (Micro+ Nano SIM) sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, 4K video recording and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) that focus on the object on 0.09 seconds. At front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 85 degree wide angle lens on board.

For connectivity it supports, 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, MHL 2.0 and USB Type C port with fast charging technology that can provide 3.5 hours of music playback on charge of 5 minutes. The Handset is backed by a 3000mah battery. It weighs 169 grams and measures 151.1×74.2×7.5mm and packs in with fingerprint scanner at rear alongside range of sensors-ambient light sensor, magnetometer, proximity sensors and accelerometer.

LeEco Le Max:

The premium Phablet flaunts a 6.33-inch QHD display with a pixel density of 464ppi, 1440×2560 pixels resolution, 0.8mm bezel and Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. Powering the gigantic device is 2GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 810 processor coupled to a massive 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It comes with 64GB and 128GB variants with no memory expansion card slot.

In terms of camera, it gets 21MP primary rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, Optical image stabilization and f/2.0 aperture flanking a 4 megapixel front snapper with an f/2.0 aperture and 81.6 degree wide angle lens. The USP of the Phablet include fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera, USB 2.0 Type-C port, MHL 3.0 and Wireless HDMI.

Like Le2s it also comes with Dual SIM functionality alongside 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.1 with APT-X, NFC, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz) and Infra red remote control. It is backed by a slightly bigger battery of 3400mah.
