Lava has launched its latest affordable Smartphone in X series called X81 at a sticker price of Rs. 11,499. The Smartphone will be available via all the leading retail stores and multi-brand outlets across the country from 13th June, 2016 in space grey color while the Gold color variant will be available from next month. The device is bundled with 1 year free screen replacement and Airtel double data offer.
Android Marshmallow with Star OS 3.0 featured Smartphone sports a 5 inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with 294ppi of pixel density and Corning Gorilla glass 3 for screen protection. The Dual SIM with dual stand by Smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek Quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 3GB of RAM.
The Lava X81 bears 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB using a Micro SD card. Coming to the imaging, it packs with a 13MP primary rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1.12 micron pixel size. There is a 5MP front facing camera which also sports LED flash for better low light imaging along with 1.12 micron pixel size, f/2.4 aperture and 84 degree wide angle lens.
The Lava X81 is backed by a 2700mah battery which offers standby time of 300hours and talktime of 9 hours and 50 minutes on 3G networks. The Phone supports 4G LTE which is further upgradable to VoLTE via FOTA (Firmware over the air); apart from LTE it gets bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS, Micro USB, GLONASS, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
