The home grown Smartphone maker Lava has introduced Iris Atom 2x, company’s entry level device in popular Iris atom series. Priced at Rs. 4499, the device is available via e-commerce website eBay.in and stores across the country in white and black color variants. It’s a budgeted offering that carries some decent specs for day to day usage.
The Lava Iris Atom 2X comes with a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display with a pixels resolution of 854 x 480 and 217 ppi of pixel density. The phone is powered by a tried and tested 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. The devices bear 8GB of in-build storage out of which 4GB is available for the user while one can further expand it up to 32GB using a micro SD card.
For photography, it features a 5MP rear snapper with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera which a rare sight nowadays. The camera also supports HDR, timer and Largan lens support. It packs in a 2000mah battery which would be sufficient enough for a 4.5 inch Smartphone. Connectivity options on the handset include dual Sim connectivity, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.
The Lava Iris Atom 2X measures 134x66x9.15mm and weighs 132 grams. It supports number of sensors such as ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and an accelerometer.
