Lava has silently rolled out its latest budget 3G offering christened as A59 carrying a sticker price of Rs. 4199. The device found on company’s official website, however there is no information regarding it availability but we expect to hit the markets soon. The device comes in two color shades which are White and black. Alongside, Lava has listed A48 on its website but as of now no information is available related to its price and availability.
The Lava A59 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (800x480p) display and powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM. It boasts 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32Gigs using a micro SD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1-Lollipop operating system out of the box.
On the imaging front, it comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA (0.3) front camera with both having LED flash support. The rear snapper offers other features such as Digital Zoom, photo timer, grid and HDR. In terms of connectivity, it has 3G, bluetooth 2.1, Micro USB port, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3.5 mm audio jack etc. The handset takes the juice from a 1750mah Li-ion battery which claims to deliver up to 19 hours of audio playback time.
Lava A48 comes with a 4 inch WVGA screen and backed by a 1.3GHz quad core processor. On the camera front, it is equipped with a 2MP primary rear camera with LED flash and VGA front facing camera. It is fuelled by a 1300mah battery while rest of the specs such as operating system, connectivity is similar to Lava A59.
