Xiaomi just launched the company’s latest smartphone Redmi Note 7S. It is an improved version of the Redmi Note 7 which was launched in India earlier in February. The smartphone comes with dual cameras for portrait shorts and also comes with AI features. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Check out other specifications of the phone below:

The smartphone is equipped with 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass LTPS in-cell display, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84% NTSC Color Gamut with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 and has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD). The P2i nano coating of the phone makes it splash proof and it has a fingerprint and IR sensor as well. On the connectivity front, it offers Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS+ GLONASS and USB Type-C. It also houses a powerful 4000 mAh (typical) battery with Quick Charge 4.

It has two storage options a 3GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD.

The Redmi Note 7S is equipped with a 48-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, 1/2″ Samsung GM1 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, PDAF, a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size.

The Redmi Note 7S is available in Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red colors and is priced at INR. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, and the 4GB with 64GB version costs INR. 12,999. It will go on sale on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting from May 23rd and will be available through other platforms soon.
