Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6 in India. This is the latest smartphone in the Redmi series. It is the successor of the Redmi 5 that was launched earlier. The phone gets face unlock feature as well as AI portrait with AI beautify features. The device carries a polycarbonate back panel with a brushed metal-like finish, and has a fingerprint sensor at the back. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 comes packed by a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display, 1000:1 contrast ratio and would be powered by a 2GHz octa-core media tek helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG powerVR GE8320 GPU. The dual SIM phone that has a fingerprint sensor at the back runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 and is upgradable to MIUI 10. The connectivity options of the Redmi 6 have dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and dual microphones.
