Xiaomi has just launched the company’s latest mid-range Redmi smartphone in India, Redmi Note 10S. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 with 6GB of RAM, dual-layer graphite sheet, and runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the box. The company says that this is the interim version and a full version with all the features including the option to uninstall system apps will be added via OTA update. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Z-axis linear vibration moto. Check out other specifications of the phone below:

The smartphone features a 6.43-inch (1080 × 2400 pixels) Full HD+ 20:9 AMOLED screen with up to 1100 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G95 12nm processor with 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 and offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. Connectivity options on Redmi Note 10S include 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, IR Blaster, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensors, accelerometers, and others. The smartphone offers 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB with microSD.

Talking about the camera, the device packs a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The phone comes with a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture housed in a centrally located hole-punch cutout.

The Redmi Note 10S is available in Shadow Black, Frost White, and Deep Sea Blue colors, and is priced at INR. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version has a price tag of INR. 15,999. It will be available from Amazon. in, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and retail stores starting from May 18th.
