Redmi’s brand Xiaomi has launched Redmi 9 the company’s latest budget smartphone in India. The phone has an AuraEdge design with a grip-friendly texture that doesn’t attract smudges or fingerprints, has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone features a 6.53-inch HD+ 20:9 IPS LCD Dot Drop screen with 400 nits brightness, 70% NTSC color gamut and is powered by 2.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 680MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 and offers Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD). The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs the 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging . on the connectivity front it offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and micro USB.

The device offers 4GB RAM with 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB with microSD card.
Camera:
On the camera front, the Redmi 9 comes with the dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary, depth sensor. The new phone also has a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

The Redmi 9 is available in Sporty Orange, Sky Blue, and Carbon Black colours, is priced at INR. 8,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs INR. 9,999. It will be available from Amazon.in and mi.com starting from August 31st.
