As promised, Huawei has recently launched its flagship Mate 20 Pro smartphone at an event in India. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner with 10-level Dynamic Pressure Sensing (DPS) technology and 3D Face Unlock as well as 3D Live Emoji and AI live model. It also has a triple rear Matrix camera system with OIS. Together, the trio of lenses supports a wide range of focal lengths. The device features a glass back with unique Hyper Optical Patterns glitter in the emerald green version that offers good grip and is resistant to fingerprints. The smartphone features a 6.39-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) QHD+ OLED 19.5:9 DCI-P3 HDR display with 820 nits brightness and is powered by HUAWEI Kirin 980 processor with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0 and it has hybrid Dual SIM with NM Card slot. The card slot lets you replace the second SIM with an NM Card, making these first phones with the feature. The phone has IP68 ratings for water resistance so that it can withstand under 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.
The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and 3D Face unlock feature. On the connectivity front, it offers Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with 40W (10V/4A) Huawei SuperCharge fast charging technology that charges the phone from 0 to 70% in 30 minutes. It also has 15W Wireless Quick Charge support and comes with Wireless Reverse Charge that allows the device to work as a power bank for devices supporting Qi wireless charging.

The smartphone offers 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal memory which can be expanded up to256GB with NM card

The device is equipped with a 40-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 20-megapixel Ultra Wide Angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, an 8-megapixel Telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, laser focus, phase focus, contrast focus, AIS (Huawei AI Image Stabilization). And a 24-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The AI Portrait Color video mode uses AI to isolate human subjects and desaturate the colors around them to dramatically highlight the person. AI Spotlight Reel identifies clips with a shared theme and auto-generates a montage, made entirely of highlights.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is available in Black, Midnight Blue, Twilight and Emerald Green colors and it comes with a price tag of INR 69,990 and will be available exclusively on Amazon starting from December 3rd for Prime members and from 4th December for others.
