Intex has expanded the cloud series line up by launching yet another affordable handset Cloud Gem+ in India. The Gem+ is exclusively available via Snapdeal at Rs. 3299 in two different color shades of black and white. Furthermore, Snapdeal is giving 9 percent discount on the handset which further cut down the price to Rs. 3002.
The Gem+ is an entry level device offering 4 inch screen with 480×800 pixels resolution, pixels density of 240ppi and Corning Gorilla glass protection. It is backed by a 1.3GHz Quad core 32bit processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU.
In the camera department, it features a 2 Megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.8 aperture and 2MP front facing camera. On the storage front, it sports 4GB of internal storage out of which 1GB is available for usage though you can further expand it up to 32GB using a Micro SD card.
The Smartphone is fuelled by a 1400mah battery which is rated to deliver 4 hours of talktime and 200hours of standby time. The device easily fits in hands and feels light as it weighs just 114 grams. Connectivity options include 3G, Micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, GPS/GLONASS, Dual SIM support and FM Radio.
The Cloud Gem+ runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box and comes with pre-installed apps such as Opera Mini, Intex service, OLX, Matrabasha and i-store. It also packs with some special features such as double tap wake up, Smart gesture etc.
