Continuing its launch spree in India, Intex has launched its new device in the aqua series called Aqua Q8 carrying a price tag of Rs. 4200. It will be available via offline and Intex retail stores in three colors -champagne, white and black. In last week, the home grown brand has launched quite a few Smartphones like Cloud S9, Aqua Craze II and Aqua 5.5 VR. The Aqua Q8 runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box which turns out to be phone’s only USP.
Coming to the specs, it sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA screen with pixel density of 219ppi and screen resolution of 480*854 pixels. Under the hood is a 1.2 GHz quad core SC7731C processor which is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and Mali400MP GPU.
It has 8GB on in-built storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB using a Micro SD card slot. On the optics front, it packs with a 5MP primary rear camera with dual LED flash and 0.3 MP VGA front camera for Selfies. The main camera comes with features like smile shot, Gif, face beauty and panorama.
For connectivity, Intex Aqua Q8 offers dual Sim slots, 3G, bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, micro USB port, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. A 1650mah Li-on battery keeps the things running and it claims to deliver up to 10 hours of talktime and up to 300 hours of standby time.
Measuring 135.7×67.3×8.82mm, it weighs 138.8 grams and comes with preloaded apps like Daily hunt, Saavn, Newspoint, Opera Mini, Matrabhasha and online Software update (FOTA).
