InFocus, America based Smartphone maker has launched its newest flagship device called Epic 1 in Indian market. Priced at 12,999 it is country’s second Smartphone after Zopo Speed 8 to be powered by Helio X20 processor. The device is available via Amazon.in starting today onwards and comes in Gold color only. It takes on against Coolpad Note 5, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Motorola Moto G4 Plus.
The Epic 1 has a 5.5 inch full HD LTPS display with 1920*1080 pixels of resolution and corning Gorilla glass 4 protection. Under the hood is a Deca core Mediatek Helio X20 Soc with two A72 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, four A53 running at 1.4GHz and four A53 ticking at 1.9GHz. It is clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that’s expandable via Micro SD card up to 128GB.
It packs with a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash, auto image stabilization, PDAF fast focus and f/1.8 aperture while an 8MP front facing camera has 85 degree wide angle lens and f/1.8 aperture. It also supports 4K video and slow mo video recording feature and burst mode which claims capture around 30 shots in 2 seconds.
The full metal bodied Smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with Inlife UI 2.0 on top. It also sports a 360 degree fingerprint sensor which is integrated at the back panel. On the connectivity front, it includes hybrid dual Sim slot, 4G VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, USB type-C, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and bluetooth 4.1. It is backed by 3000mah battery that offers up to 14 hours of talktime and up to 300 hours of standby time.
