The launching flourish continues as Huawei has launched two new Smartphones in India- Honor Holly 2 and Honor 5X, priced at 8499 and 12499 respectively. The Honor 5X is now up for pre-order and will on sale from 1st February in Silver and Sunset Gold colors while the other one will be available from 15th February in white, grey and gold colors. Both the devices will be made available via Amazon and Flipkart.
Huawei Honor Holly 2:
Unveiled in China last year, the dual SIM Smartphone flaunts a 5 inch HD IPS display and powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core Mediatek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720GPU and 2GB RAM. It boards 16GB internal storage with an option to further scale up the memory up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
As far as camera go, the device sports a 13MP camera at rear Omni vision BSI sensor, 28mm wide angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. For the Selfie lovers, it comes with 5MP front camera. The metallic frame encrypted device offers 4G LTE, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and GPS as connectivity options.
It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Emotion UI 3.1 on top and backed by a beefy 4000mah battery which is good enough last for a day and supports quick charge support.
Huawei Honor 5X:
The premium offering of the two, Honor 5X has a 5.5 inch full HD display and fuelled by Octa Core Snapdragon 616 processor clocked at 1.5GHz clubbed with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The memory capacity on board is 16GB but users can further expand it up to128GB using a Micro SD card.
It too runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the EMUI 3.1 skin on top. The Honor 5X houses a 13MP rear camera 28mm wide angle lens, blue glass IR filter, f/2.0 aperture, dual tone LED flash while at front it is equipped with 5 megapixel front facing camera featuring 4P lens, blue glass filter, f/2.2 aperture and 88 degree wide angle lens.
The Smartphone features a fingerprint sensor which is located below the rear camera and assisted by Fingerprint 2.0 which is claimed to unlock the device in a brisk 0.5 seconds. It measures 151.3×76.3×8.15mm and weighs 158 grams.
The Dual SIM phablet offers the same connectivity options as Honor Holly 2. A 3000mah battery with support to Qualcomm’s Quick charge 3.0 keeps the things intact on Honor 5X.
