Google’s pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL has been announced in India shortly after the Global Launch event came to an end. The Pixel 2 in India costs Rs. 61000 for the 64 GB variant and Rs. 70000 for the 128 GB variant, while the price for the Pixel 2 XL is Rs. 73000 for 64 GB model and Rs. 82000 for 128 GB one. The price of the new phone seems to compete with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus phones and it would be amazing to watch if it is able to impress the buyers or not. Both the phones are the first one with eSIM support but still have a nano SIM slot. The pre-orders for both the phones start from October 26. The Google Pixel 2 will go on sale on November 1 and Pixel 2 XL would be on sale on November 15. The phone’s colors you can choose from are Kinda Blue, Just Black, and Clearly White. The smartphones will be available in stores throughout the country and can also be bought online exclusively on Flipkart.

Pixel 2 specifications include a 5-inch Cinematic 127-mm full-HD (1080×1920) display which comes with a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen guard. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor while it carries 4GB of RAM. It comes in both 64GB and 128GB storage variants and also has a water-resistant metal uni-body. For optics the Pixel 2 houses a 12.2-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and for the front shooter it has an 8-megapixel camera with aperture f/2.4. The Pixel 2 runs on Android 8.0.0 operating system. For connectivity, the smartphone includes GPS, HotSpot, NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The Pixel 2 sports a 2700mAh battery and claims up to 7 hours of battery on 15 minutes of charge.

Talking of the specifications of Pixel 2 XL, it is not much different from Pixel 2. It features a 6-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1440) P-OLED display at 538ppi with 18:9 ratio. It’s display also comes equipped with a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection as that of Pixel 2. The Pixel 2 XL sports a 3520mAh battery and the features like camera, OS, processor, RAM, Connectivity and storage options, are the same as that in Pixel 2 Smartphone.
