Google has finally launched its latest Nexus Smartphones – the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P – in the country. The Smartphones are available for pre-orders starting today and will go on sale from 21st October 2015. The Nexus 5X made by LG will be exclusively retailed by Amazon India; while the Huawei made Nexus 6P will be sold on Flipkart. Apart from online retailing, both the devices will be sold via Offline stores like Mobile Store, Sangeetha Mobiles, Ezone, Croma and Poorvika.
Google Nexus 5X
Smaller of the two, Nexus 5X packs a 5.2 inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection, 423pi pixel density and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has a 1.8 GHz Hexa Core Snapdragon 808 64-bit processor supported by 2GB RAM and Adreno 418 GPU. The device comes with two memory configurations of 16GB and 32GB with no memory card slot.
Those who pre-order Nexus 5X will get some free stuff like a Bluetooth headset worth Rs. 2500, screen replacement worth Rs. 6500 and there is an additional Rs. 3500 cashback for HDFC Bank credit card users.
The Single SIM Smartphone comes with the newest form of Android i.e. Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. On the Camera front, it boasts 12.3MP primary rear camera with 1.55 micro pixel size ratio, laser auto focus, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. There is also a 5MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture and HDR+.
The Google Nexus 5X available in Quartz White, ice Blue colors and Carbon Black colors. The device takes the juice from a 2700mah battery with a quick charge technology capable of providing 3.8 hours of charge in just 10 minutes.

Google Nexus 6P
The second device of the nexus duo is Huawei made Nexus 6P which sports a bigger screen, better processor and higher price range. It comes in an all-metal body design with 5.7 inch Quad HD AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixels and Corning Gorilla 4 protection. Powering it a 2 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 64-bit 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM.
Google Nexus 6P will come in 32GB and 64GB storage variants with no memory expandable slot.
This Device too sports a 12.3MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.55um pixels and IR laser autofocus. Up front, there is an 8MP front camera in board as compared to 5MP Nexus 5X. Both phones supports 30FPS Smart Burst feature which will let you make GIF animations and 240fps slow motion video feature.
It also runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 that comes with a new Doze function which automatically shuts down background app activity when it detects that the device hasn’t been used for some time. It features a bigger battery of 3490mah with fast charging capabilities as it can give you 7 hours usage with 10 minutes of charging.

Connectivity options on both the devices include 4G support/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The Google Nexus 6P comes in Aluminum and Graphite colors.
