Coolpad launched its Fingerprint sensor loaded and smaller version of Note 3 dubbed as Note 3 lite in India in January this year and since then company has sold over 5 lakh units of the device in the country. To commemorate this milestone, Coolpad has launched the Gold edition of Note 3 lite with a sticker price of Rs. 7499 which is just 500 more than the standard variant. The new Gold edition will be exclusively available via Amazon.in from June 9th 2016.
Apart from new Color, rest of the things is similar to the standard model. It sports a 5 inch HD IPS display featuring scratch resistant glass and 1280*720 pixels resolution. Powering it is a 1.3GHz Quad core 64-bit Mediatek MT6735 processor coupled to 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It boasts 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB using a Micro SD card.
It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Cool UI 6.0 out of the box. On the photography front, it is equipped with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3G HSPA+, GPS, bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The Note 3 Lite Gold edition is backed by a 2500mah non-removable battery.
