Samsung has launched its Galaxy S9 and S9+ at an event in India. These phones were introduced at the MWC last week so we we bring you features and comparison between the two.
Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S9 comes with a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ (2960 × 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display while the Samsung Galaxy S9+ has a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ (2960 × 1440 pixels) super AMOLED Infinity display with 529ppi. Both of them have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Both the phones run on Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor with Mali G72MP18 GPU and have the same operating system as Android 8.0 (Oreo). The connectivity options for both the smartphones are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, and NFC.
Camera
The optics of the S9 have a 12MP dual rear camera with LED Flash and that of the S9+ has a 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, and a 12MP secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. Both the phones have 8MP autofocus front-facing shooter for selfies with a wide-angle lens and f/1.7 aperture.
Storage
Galaxy S9 has 4GB RAM with 64GB/256GB storage which is further expandable up to 400GB with micro SD card. The S9+ has 6GB RAM with 64GB/256GB storage and is expandable up to 400GB with micro SD card.
Battery
The S9 comes backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast Charging and the S9+ packs a 3500mAh battery.
Dimensions and Weight
The S9 measures 147.7mm x 68.7mm x 8.5mm and weighs 163g. On the other hand, the S9+ measures 158.1mm x 73.8mm x 8.5mm and weighs 189g.

Colour
Both the phones will be available in Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple colours in India.

The phones are available for pre-order exclusively on Flipkart and will start shipping from March 16th, 2018.
