Vivo launched the Y50 smartphone in China and now the device is finally launching in India. Highlights of the smartphone include 8GB of RAM, 128GB of inbuilt storage, a massive 5,000mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 665 SoC. Further, it will go on sale starting June 10 on Flipkart, and we should know more information on the price and the time of sale in a few days.
Vivo Y50 Specifications:
The smartphone will feature a 6.53-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ iView Display and will be powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU. It will run on Android 10 based on FunTouch OS 10 and offers Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD). The phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery and it does not support fast charging. Connectivity options on Vivo Y50 include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging. The phone also includes sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
Storage:
The device will offer 8GB RAM with 128GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB with a microSD card.
Camera:
Talking about the camera, the Vivo Y50 has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter with 120 degrees field-of-view. There is also a 2-megapixel portrait shooter and a 2-megapixel macro camera with a 4cm focal length. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 16-megapixel camera at the front.
Colors:
The device will be available in starry black, iris blue, and pearl white colors. Pricing details will be announced later.
