The Oppo A73 is expected to come with 6-inch (15.24 cm) Display with 402 ppi pixel density. It is said to be powered by a 2.5 GHz Tru-Octa Core MediaTek MT6763T processor and would be mated to Mali-G71 MP2. The device runs on Android v7.1.1 Nougat OS. The connectivity options of the phone are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and micro USB 2.0. It measures 156.2 x 76 x 7.5 mm and weighs 152 grams.

The device has a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 16 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
