OnePlus has emerged as the champions in the budget smartphone segment with launching its phones having all new technology to woo buyers. With launching its OnePlus One in 2014 the company now has seven handsets under its belt. It is much loved as it offers iPhone-rivalling specs and that too at subsequent lower prices. After the launch of OnePlus 5T in November last year, OnePlus CEO has confirmed the OnePlus 6 to come late in the second quarter this year. While not outright naming the device, he also confirmed that the OnePlus 6 would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
Expected Specifications:
Coming to the specifications of the OnePlus 6 it is rumoured to have a bezel-less Full HD-ish 1080 x 2160-pixel resolution display. For the processor, it is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chip. This powerful processor has not been released on any phone yet and is said to be the year’s biggest releases. For the betterment of its feature set, the device is expected to get IP-rated water and dust resistance feature which is already available in Apple, Samsung, and LG phones. The OnePlus 6 is also expected to have the advanced facial recognition system as on the iPhone X and even a typical down-firing speaker same as the iPhone 8 and X. As of the OnePlus 5T which had the fingerprint sensor at the back, this new flagship may have an under-the-display fingerprint sensor.
Storage of OnePlus 6:
For storage the OnePlus 5T came with 6GB and 8 GB variants, so for this higher-tier model of OnePlus, it is expected to get 128 GB to 256 GB variants.
Colours:
The colours are yet to be revealed.
Rumoured Price:
Nothing about the pricing has been discussed but it will most probably be higher than 5T.
