HMD global has sent out invites for the launch of its upcoming smartphone on August 21st. The invite says that the company will soon unveil the Nokia 6.1 Plus, which is the global version of the Nokia X6 smartphone that was introduced earlier last month. Here we bring you the detailed features of the Nokia 6.1 Plus that it is expected to come with.
Specifications
The Nokia 6.1 Plus will come packed with a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratios with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core snapdragon 636 14nm mobile platform with adreno 509 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM phone will run on android 8.1 (Oreo) and is upgradable to Android P. It will also has a fingerprint sensor for security. The connectivity options will have dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Type-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and FM Radio facility. Its dimension measures 47.2 x 70.98 x 7.99~8.59 mm and it weighs 151 gram.

The camera options of the 6.1 Plus will get 16MP (RGB) rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size, and a secondary 5 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and 1.2um pixel size. For the front the handset gets 16MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus would be priced around 20,000 INR in India and will compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Asus Zenfone Max Pro.
