Along with Mi 8 Pro, the company also introduced the Mi 8 Lite, a cheaper version of the Mi 8. The special feature of the phone is that phone’s display can light up in different colors to suit various scenarios while taking selfies, intelligently illuminating the face with the right color temperature. The phone features a 6.21 inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 600 nits brightness, 60000:1 contrast ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut and is powered by 2.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm mobile platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI and is Dual SIM. The device also has IR face unlock and pressure-sensitive fingerprint sensor.
For connectivity options, it offers dual 4G VoLTS, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, and US Type-C. The smartphone has a powerful 3000 mAh (typical) / 2900 (min) battery with quick charge 4+ fast charging.

The Mi 8 Lite will come in Aurora blue, midnight black and sunset gold colors and might have a price tag of INR 14000 for 4GB variant, INR 18,000 for the 64 GB and INR 21,000 for 128 GB internal storage. It will launch in India this month.
