LG introduced it’s all new G8s ThinQ along with the G8 ThinQ at the MWC in February. The smartphone offers enhanced security with Hand ID and Face Unlock. Hand ID uses the Z Camera’s ability to scan a user’s unique circulatory pattern using infrared light that makes unlocking the phone in the dark just as accurate as during the day. The Z Camera is Air Motion, a touch less command interface that permits users to perform various actions without touching the screen. Check out other specifications of the phone below:
LG G8s ThinQ Specifications:
The smartphone will feature a 6.2-inch (2248 x 1080 pixels) 19.5:9 FHD+ FullVision OLED Display and will be powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It will run on Android 9.0 (Pie) and is water, dust resistant (IP68), MIL-STD 810G certified. It will come with Fingerprint sensor and 3D Face Unlock and houses a 3550 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. On the connectivity front, it offers a 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
Storage:
The smartphone will offer 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB with microSD card.
Camera:
The device will be equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.5 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, 78° lens, LED flash, 13 megapixel 137˚ super wide camera, f/2.4 aperture, 1.0 µm pixel size, and 12-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, 45° lens. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture, 1.22μm pixel size, 80° lens, 3D ToF sensor.
Price and color:
The LG G8s ThinQ will be available in Mirror Black, Mirror Teal, and Mirror White colors, and will roll out later this month.
