Earlier ASUS confirmed that it will launch its flagship Zenfone 6, now Flipkart has confirmed that the phone will launch in India on June 19th, but the name of the phone will be changed soon. As the high court has ordered not to use ‘Zen’ or ‘ZenFone’ due to trademark issue. Check out the specifications of the phone below:
ASUS 6Z specifications:
The smartphone will feature a 6.46-inch (pixels) Full HD+ NanoEdge IPS LCD 19.5:9 aspect ratio screen with 600 nits brightness, HDR10, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and will be powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It will run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ZenUI 6 and will offer a dedicated Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD). It will also offer a fingerprint sensor and a 5000mAh battery with QuickCharge 4.0 fast charging. The device might also get 5-magnet stereo speaker, Dual NXP TFA9874 smart amp and dual microphones. On the connectivity front, it will come with features such as Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C.
Storage:
The smartphone will offer two storage options 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB internal storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 1TB with microSD.
Camera:
In the camera department, it will be equipped with a 48-megapixel flip camera with Dual LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, Laser AF, EIS, 13-megapixel secondary camera with 125-degree ultra-wide lens and f/2.4 aperture.
