The Blackberry leap which was announced at MWC 2015 in Barcelona has been officially launched in India. The device will be available in Indian market starting 12th May though company has not revealed the pricing details of Blackberry leap yet.
The Blackberry leap comes with decent and better specifications than its siblings in India, powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 plus processor with Adreno 225GPU and paired with 2GB RAM. The Smartphone is supported by the Blackberry OS 10.3.1 OS.
Blackberry leap flaunts 5.0 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and sports an 8 megapixel back camera with 1080p video recording and has a 2MP front camera with 720p video recording.
As far as connectivity options are concerned it supports 4G/LTE, bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro USB 2.0, GLONASS and FM radio. It is packed by an integrated non removable 2800mah battery that is good enough for 25 hours usage.
Other features include 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB with micro SD card, 170 grams weight etc.
The Blackberry Leap will available through offline and online retail stores, Leap is priced at 275$ globally but we expect the price of it India around Rs. 22,000 INR.
