After unveiling Zenfone Go at Zen festival event few months back, now the brand has officially launched it India. Priced at Rs. 7999, Zenfone Go is company’s first model to be powered by mediate processor. The Smartphone comes in Ceramic white, pure black and Glamor red colors and will be available at ASUS exclusive stores, via Flipkart starting today.
The company is said to be working on the budgeted Smartphone since January this year but was unable to give it the final touch. The Asus Go comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
A 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6580 processor with 400MP2 GPU takes care of the functioning of the Smartphone along with 2GB of RAM. The device gets just 8GB of internal storage though you can expand it up to 64GB via Micro SD card.
The camera department taken care by 8MP of rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture along with a 2MP front facing camera for Selfie and video calling. The Zenfone Go sports accelerometer, proximity, e-compass and ambient light sensors.
The dual SIM device does not support 4G while it comes with connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. It measures 144.5x71x9.98mm and weighs 135 grams. It takes the juice from a 2070mah battery which is slight insufficient for a 2GB RAM device.
Asus is offering Zenfone Go with 100GB of Google Drive storage which will be free for 2 years. The Device will lock its horns with Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Lenovo A6000 plus and Yu Yuphoria.
